Disc Golf

From Huittisten Ratsastuskeskus, next to Trollwood finds 9-channel Discgolfpath. Path is mainly ment for the beginners and also for few year fancy flingers. Althought path fits for the beginners, the path gives challenges for more experienced flingers.

There is a small charge in the path, and you can pay it to the cafeteria Onnenkenkä or to the office, which you can rent discs. 

Discgolf as sport

Discgolf is a game, that everybody can play all old or young, men or women. Discgolfs priciple is the same as traditional golf. Discgolfissa is used instead of ball and golfclub plastic discgolf, which are different size and weight. Ballgolfs hole is replaced in discgolf metallic basket. The idea of the game is, that who can throw the  disc the least of throws to the basket is the winner.

Rules in a nutshell

1. Purpose of the game is to get discgolf at least throws as possible from the start to the metallic discgolfbasket.
2. Thower must be certain, that there are no other players on the path.
3. After opening throw, the player who is the farthest from basket, continues playing at first. Next throw will be throwm from the place, whrere the former throw staid. The player shoudn`t rush to his own disc to wait for his own turn,  istead of that he must wait for his own turn (furthest of the basket) behind the player. The player throws so many times, until the disc is in the basket.
4. The hole is finished, when the disc is in the basket.
5. Winner is the player, who gets the least of throws in the path.
